High Performance Steel Meeting

First of all, let me thank you for agreeing to participate in the High Performance Steel (HPS) Meeting to be held in Kansas City, MO on June 8, 1999. The main purpose of this meeting will be to obtain your input in selecting an innovative bridge configuration system to be used in Phase III of the Nebraska High Performance Steel Bridge Initiative.

We will start the meeting with a presentation to be given by Kenneth Price, J. Muller International and the National Bridge Research Organization (NaBRO) on possible innovative bridge system configurations. The remaining portion of the meeting will be devoted to obtain your input in selecting the most promising innovative bridge configuration system.

Please take note of these additional items:

I) NaBRO will be hosting a dinner on the evening of June 7th at 9:00 p.m. in the Wyndham Garden Café. We hope that you will be able to join us for dinner if your time permits.

II) For those of you flying into the Kansas City Airport, the Wyndham Garden Hotel provides a complementary shuttle service to the hotel. There is a hotel reader board located in the airport's baggage claim area. The Wyndham Garden Hotel is listed as #14. Using this number, phone the hotel and the hotel's shuttle will pick you up.
