Dr. Nanni is interested in construction
materials, their structural performance, and field application.
In the past 13 years, he has obtained experience in concrete-based
systems as the principal investigator of projects sponsored
by federal and state agencies, and private industry. Dr. Nanni
has maintained a balance between academic and practical experience.
He is an active member in the technical committees of ACI,
ASCE, ASTM and TMS. He was the founding Chairman of ACI Committee
440 - FRP Reinforcement. He was the editor of a book on the
subject of FRP reinforcement for concrete, and coeditor of
the proceedings of an International Symposium of the same
subject. He has authored over 60 refereed papers.
