Design Engineer
Missouri Department of Transportation
Allen F. Laffoon is the Bridge Design Engineer for the Missouri
Department of Transportation, a position he assumed in January
1988. His job responsibilities include overseeing the activities
of the Bridge Division. Laffoon attended the University of
Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree
and a Masters of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He has
held a variety of positions including district construction
engineer, planning traffic engineer, field liaison engineer
in Maintenance and Traffic and Sikeston district engineer.
Prior to assuming his present position, Laffoon was the division
engineer in Construction. He is a registered professional
engineer and a registered land surveyor.
